As our Lord Jesus walked this Earth, He was fulfilling God's plan for humanity and all creation to be redeemed by overcoming the sin and death that separated us from God, so that we might once again know and be with the God who loved us first.  His work included preparing those first Apostles for the day He would return to heaven, yet through His Spirit remain with us always.  He was preparing them to be His Church.

At Holy Redeemer, we are part of the worldwide Anglican Communion rooted in that one, holy and Apostolic Church.   For us, the Word of God revealed in the Bible is just that...God's Word whose truths are just as relevant today as they were when inspired.  The Spirit of God works in and through His people.  The people of God are called to love one another and even their enemies.   And they are called to share there testimony, their witness of Christ in their lives today.
