A Community Committed to...

Worshipping God in Word & Sacraments

Through the Bible, God reveals His mighty acts throughout history, His work of salvation known only in His Son Jesus, and His transforming presence in our lives now known through Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and we in Him.

Through the Sacraments, Christ adopts us as His own forever in Baptism, nourishes us with His most precious Body and Blood as oft as we celebrate the Eucharist, and extends His forgiveness and healing grace into our lives.

Living out Biblical Truths

We stand firmly on the Biblical truths revealed in Scripture that male and female God made us in His image and so embrace the sanctity of life from the moment of conception, the God-given gift of gender, the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and sex a responsibility and gift reserved for marriage.

We also recognize that as St Paul reminded the church in Rome, all fall short of the glory of God and so seek not to judge but to find grace, forgiveness, and redemption through Christ.

A Community Invested in...

Christ's Command to
Love One Another

This is the New Commandment Jesus revealed to His Disciples during the Last Supper…that they love one another just as He had loved them.  And through your love for one another, Jesus then said, the world will know that you are my Disciples.

This new command is the very heart of Holy Redeemer. We strive to be a community of folks invested in each others lives by supporting and encouraging each other.  We pray that as Christ works in and through us, as we know His love and presence among us, the world might see His love in the ways we love one another.

Christ's Command to
Love Our Neighbor

When asked what is the greatest commandment, Jesus responded love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Saint John reminds us that we love because God loved us first.  Simply put, we respond to God’s love by loving Him.  It’s in this love that we can then love one another, love our neighbors and even love our “enemies”.

The folks of Holy Redeemer act on that love through spending time with the lonely, helping those in need, and simply being available to God to serve our neighbors as He desires.
